&lt;p&gt;i remember posting something about not losing weight but losing inches and i mentioned something about muscle weighing more than fat. and some little ignorant piece of shit tries to correct me: “what. that makes no sense. 1 lb of fat is 1 lb of muscle. it weighs the same.” hehe silly silly girl. that’s like saying, “what weighs more: a lb of feathers or a lb of bricks?” of course, they weigh the same but it takes A LOT MORE feathers to weigh 1 lb and a whole lot less bricks to weigh 1lb. just like the picture here. it takes a whole lot more fat to weigh 5 lbs than muscle to weigh 5 lbs. smh.&lt;/p&gt;

It seems that in the 6 weeks since I have been back into the swing of normal post wedding life I have managed to gym less and eat more.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A simple and unfortunate result is a bakery belly, I have stacked on three kgs and feeling much less toned, swollen/ plump belly, thick thighs and worst of all I have pimples. Pimples am I 14 again?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I want my flat tummy back and I want it yesterday. Good thing I I know just how to do it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Here&amp;#8217;s what I need
A goal
Some resolve
A plan
A journal
A date&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Goal = a flat tummy/a six pack/ toned arms/cheek bones/ lean lean lean and trim physique / fit will be the side effect&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Resolve = just flipping well do it/ no reason not to/ stick to your guns and bloody well do it/buck up princess&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A plan=start up body trim again and stick to high protein low carb/ mo more baked goods/ chocolate is off the menu/4 weeks will be all it takes then stick to the maintenance plan&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;a journal=my blog. I don&amp;#8217;t care if no ones reading. As long as I am actively doing something towards my life and my flat tummy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A date= going to sign up with my Friends for the tough guy challenge in March. Very difficult cross fit army style training session over a commando course. 6km run included&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In between working a busy job, starting my own business and studying my masters, I tried more diets than I can poke a stick at!
I ran, jumped, pushed and pulled
I sprinted, I sweated and I pushed my limits 
I went to the gym when I didn&amp;#8217;t want to
I resisted the urge to binge (mostly)
I thought about quitting daily 
I went up in weight and I went down in weight
I struggled sometimes to be motivated
I fell, I bruised, I sprained&amp;#8230; It was not easy
Then I found things that worked and stopped doing the things that didn&amp;#8217;t.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My final results are these!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I lost 8 kgs, 74 cms and gained more than just a little confidence, I gained knowledge, perspective and worked on a habit of healthy attitudes to both food, my body and daily exercise.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I now understand what my body wants, and when it&amp;#8217;s had enough. I understand how sugar and carbs make me want to consume more sugar and more carbs. I struggled with calorie counting and was left hungry with lite n easy. My own version of the body trim diet works rather well, for me! A mix of weights, walking, running and Jillian Michaels biometric training keeps me strong and toned!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is not the end. It&amp;#8217;s simply the start to keeping my body moving and my mind active! To keep the weight down and my energy up.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I want to thank everyone of my support crew members who either helped me or ran beside me&amp;#8230; You have and always will motivate me.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Keep your own weight loss plans going, believe in your self and trust your struggle.&lt;/p&gt;
